Scrum Master

What we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Scrum Master to join our dynamic team at SHINTA VR. As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of our cutting-edge Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Extended Reality (XR) projects. Your expertise in agile methodologies, combined with your passion for immersive technologies, will be essential in ensuring our teams operate efficiently and deliver high-quality experiences to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, fostering collaboration and transparency within the VR/AR/XR development team.

• Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to define clear project goals, prioritize backlog items, and ensure the team's efforts align with business objectives.

• Remove impediments and roadblocks to optimize the team's productivity and efficiency, ensuring smooth development cycles.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to reflect on processes and practices, and implement changes to enhance effectiveness.

• Guide and coach the team on agile principles, helping them embrace iterative development and adapt to changing project requirements.

• Monitor project progress, track key metrics, and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in VR/AR/XR technology projects, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this field.

• Passion for immersive technologies and a strong desire to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in VR/AR/MR/XR and Metaverse.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration with a global team and stakeholders.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certifications are a plus.

• Demonstrated ability to facilitate productive discussions, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive team environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt agile practices to suit the needs of VR/AR/XR projects.

• Proficiency in using agile project management tools and software.

• A proactive and flexible mindset, with a focus on delivering value and meeting project deadlines.
