Technical Project Manager

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a strong understanding of IT and B2B projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex software development projects from start to finish. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they will be responsible for working with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, developers, and other project managers.

Responsibilities

• Define the client’s needs for the developer team (including the scope of work, objectives, concepts, tasks, etc.)

• Create and review the development timeline, coordinate with PMO/PM/Business team, and generate reports regarding project progress.

• Decide manpower (both internal and external) and the process needed to finish the project.

• Give inputs to PMO/PM/any related Business team regarding the project development.

• Documentation and data management

• Manage project risks’ management from a technical perspective (various strategies to minimize risks and ensure project smoothness).

• Coordinate the technical side of the project with related teams.

• Provide operational support.

• Study regularly to improve your current skills and acquire new ones.

Qualifications

• Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or any related field.

• Preferably 2+ years of experience performing project management roles (fresh grads are welcome!).

• Experienced in managing projects and collaborating with various other work units, including Programming/IT, 3D & 2D, Creative, Business Unit, Operations, Finance, Administration, etc.

• Having experience in implementing IT programs/projects is a big plus.

• Have robust analysis and prioritization skills.

• Experienced in coordinating programs and administration.

• Good negotiation skills.

• Excellent leadership, interpersonal skills and organization skills.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to speak and write about technical issues for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to take ambiguity and clarify for self and others.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge & understanding of immersive technology (VR/AR/MR) is a plus.

• Knowledge & understanding of project management tools (Notion, Jira, Asana, Trello, etc.) and techniques is a plus.

• Experience with Lean concepts and applying them is a plus.

• Experience in managing external partner relationships and contract staff is a plus.

• Having a certification related to project management is a plus.
